The closed grained cast iron casing is of single stage volute type & of extra thickness to withstand the abrasive action of sewage or similar liquids. It is designed to avoid destructive turbulance. Pump casing is constructed to heavy engineering standard to ensure a long trouble free service life & low maintenance cost.

Pump Shaft & Transmission Shaft(s) are of heavier section to ensure with standard bending or viabration from all causes.

Standard design of the pump is of gland less type, i.e. without stuffing box. Pump with mechanical seal or with gland packing arrangement can be provided if required.

Installation & removal are easy & less time consuming due to its double base plate effect. Pump can be removed without disturbing foundation & allignment.

Standard pump is supplied with suction bell mouth only. Strainer is provided though it is a non clogging, type pump. Suitable plate or box type strainer can also be provided if required

Standard impeller is of closed grained cast iron of two vane, single entry, shrouded type. It is accurately machined & balanced as per relevant standard. It can handle solids & semi solids in suspension.

Intermediate bearings depends on pump speed & the total length of the pump. Seperate pipe connection is provided to ensure adequate flow of lubricant to the line shaft bearing. The ball & angular contact ball (thrust)bearings mounted on the motor stool

Standard design of the cast iron base plates are of rectangular type in two parts top & bottom. Circular base plate maybe provided if required.

Delivery pipe connection is located at the top of the base plate.
